Gold Science

Most jewellers rely on supplier certificates for gold purity. We do not. Every batch of gold that enters our atelier is XRF-tested — X-Ray Fluorescence analysis providing elemental composition to four decimal places. And rather than hoping for fine grain, we assume it is coarse and apply a four-stage densification process: controlled melt temperature, grain refiner addition, solidification rate management, and mechanical compression.

The Certificate of Engineering accompanies every Zefire piece. It contains three things no other Indian fine jeweller provides: your alloy composition report from XRF testing, the ATOS Scanner dimensional deviation data confirming your piece met its tolerance specification, and a unique serial number that permanently identifies your piece and ties it to its production record. This document exists because the data exists. It is proof, not promise.

The Production Process

Two independent
verification gates —
before it reaches you.

Every Zefire piece passes through two independent verification events — not one. First, a digital casting simulation runs before a gram of gold is poured: metal fill, solidification dynamics and cooling behaviour are all modelled, and any predicted defect zones are addressed before production begins. Second, the ATOS Scanner verifies the finished casting against the original CAD. Only after both verification events does the piece proceed to artisan finishing.
